Erath - Funeral services for Melba Desormeaux Thibodeaux, 78, will be held Thursday May 22, 2014 at 3:00PM in David Funeral Home of Erath, with Father Bill Melancon Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church officiating, burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday May 22, 2014 from 8:30AM until time of services, with a Rosary being held at 11:00AM. A native of Milton and a resident of Erath, Mrs. Thibodeaux was a loving Mother, Grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her daughter Anne T. Hebert of Erath; three granddaughters Jennifer, Jasmine, and Jade Diz all of Erath; her great grandson Jachson Diz of Erath; two sisters Dorothy Primeaux and Eva Duhon both of Abbeville. Mrs. Thibodeaux was preceded in death by her husband Charles Thibodeaux; Ulyss and Selma Turner Desormeaux. Mrs. Thibodeaux's family wishes to extend a special thanks to her niece Marie Broussard.
