Abbeville - Funeral Services for Maudry Marie Stelly, 78, will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014, in the David Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00AM with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating. Visitation will start at 2:00PM on Tuesday, May 27,2014 until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, May 28, 204 at 8:00AM until service time. Burial will be in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery. Ms. Stelly was a native and lifelong resident of Abbeville, and she was also a former member of the Vermilion Homemakers. She is survived by her daughter Gloria LeBouef and her husband, George of Abbeville; three step-daughters, Noella Hebert and her husband Richard of Kaplan, Diana Istre and her husband Murphy of Kaplan, and Janella LeBlanc of Abbeville; one step-son Glenn LeBlanc of Kaplan; also a Special Little Boy, Justin Helms of Blanchard, Oklahoma. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight step grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brian LeBouef, Brent LeBouef, Oran Stelly, Jr., Glenn LeBlanc, Raymond Stelly, Jr., Ronald Stelly. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson B. LeBlanc, her parents, Odra and Irma Miller Stelly, two sons, Larry and Joseph Schexnider, two brothers, Oran Stelly, Sr. and Raymond Stelly, one Step daughter, Sandra LeBlanc, and one step granddaughter, Nicole LeBlanc.
