Abbeville - Funeral services for Beatrice "Bea" Peltier Moore, 70, will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 2:00PM at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Fr. Kenneth Mayne Pastor of St. Theresa Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9:00AM until time of services a Rosary will be recited at 11:00AM at David Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Bea, a native of Abbeville and a resident of Erath, passed away Saturday May 31, 2014. She was retired from the Vermilion Parish Health Unit with 24 years of service. Survivors include two brothers Lorgi Peltier and Ulysse Peltier both of Abbeville; two sisters Irene Schexynader of Abbeville, and Genevie Mergist of Erath; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bea was preceded in death by her parents Whitney and Cecilia Dubois Peltier; and two sisters Florine Rush, and Avia Doucet. Servings as pallbearers will be Ronald Rush Jr., Bradley Peltier, Corey Doucet, Patrick Peltier, Craig Mergist, and Robert Suire. Honorary pallbearer will be Ryan Wood. David Funeral Home, 2600 Charity St., (337- 893-3777) will be in charge of arrangement
