Rynella - Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Wallace LeBlanc, Sr., the former Ann Billiot, 69, on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at 2:00 PM at St. Marcellus Catholic Church with Fr. Eugene Tremi officiating. Readings for the mass will be proclaimed by Johnny and Yvonne Hebert and the gift bearers will be Juilette Leleux, Mikalla Billiot and Lacy Boutte. Burial will follow in St. Marcellus Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at 10:00 AM until the funeral time. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. A native of Golden Meadows and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. LeBlanc died on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 3:50 PM in a New Iberia nursing facility. She was a cake decorator and loved to celebrate her family and friends thru her cakes. She taught catechism at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and St. Marcellus Catholic Church and was very active and involved in her church. She was a member of Bayou Sugar Belle Cake Club. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Wallace LeBlanc, Sr. of New Iberia; her children, Becky LeBlanc and her companion Nathan Coleman of Sacramento, CA, Dario Billiot and his wife Liz of New Iberia, Wallace LeBlanc, Jr. and his companion Tiffany Myers of Carencro, Blaine LeBlanc and his wife Charlotte of New Iberia, Robert Wayne LeBlanc and his wife Patty of Orlando, FL, Kerry LeBlanc and his wife Mary of Bull Island and Kirk LeBlanc of Lafayette; her sisters, Gloria Cheramie of Golden Meadows and Ollie Verdin of Larose; her brothers, Manson Billiot of Golden Meadows and John Davis Billiot of Thibodaux; eighteen grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Billiot; her mother, Anxilia Verdin Billiot; her siblings, Edith Wrainwright, Antoine Billiot, Tilden Billiot and Maurice Billiot; one grandchild and one great grandchild. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Michael LeBlanc, Jeremy Dale Landry, Roy Billiot, Robert Verdin, Scott LeBlanc and Billy Ray Landry. Honorary pallbearers will be Blain LeBlanc, Wallace LeBlanc, Jr. and Dario Billiot.
