Randy "Slanky" Savoy

Lafayette-Funeral services will be held for Randy Paul "Slanky" Savoy, 50, in the David Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at 12 Noon, with Deacon Russell Hayes officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 4:00PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 8:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Broussard. Randy was a member of the PRHC hunting club and loved to fish and play pool. He was a native of Youngsville and resident of Broussard. Honored to be pallbearers will be Chris Savoy, Tony Savoy, Hunter Savoy, Jackie Guilbeaux, Kevin Grossie and Cody Whittington. Honorary pallbearers will be Stacy Frederick and Greg Miller. He is survived by his parents, Lorris and Rose Marie Broussard Savoy, Jr. of Youngsville, two brothers, Chris Savoy and his wife Ashley, and Tony Savoy of Broussard, two sisters, Sue Savoy Miller and her husband, Greg, and Liz Savoy Frederick and her husband, Stacy of Youngsville, Paternal Grandmother, Mrs. Lores Savoy of Youngsville, he is also survived by two nieces and two nephews, and one great niece. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be sent to St. Joseph Hospice. He was preceded in death by Paternal grandfather, Lores Savoy and Great Grandmother, Ida Simon Savoy and maternal Grandparents, Wallace and Eunice Boutin Broussard.
