Abbeville - Funeral services will be held for Michael Shane Plowden, Jr. , also known as "Buddy", 4, on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at 2:00PM at St. Mary Congregational Church in Abbeville with Rev. Kevin Williams officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home in Abbeville on Saturday, July 5, 2014 from 9:00AM until time of service. Michael was born at Fort Polk, LA and was a resident of Silver Spring, Maryland. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Torie Plowden of Silver Spring, Maryland; brother, Ty Layne Plowden; two sisters, Bre'ahni Michel and Jolie Michel Plowden; maternal grandparents, Gwen Briggs of Silver Spring, MD and Raymond Comeaux of Abbeville; maternal great-grandparents, Leroy and Shirley Briggs of Abbeville; paternal grandparents, John Earl and Judy S. Plowden of Lafayette, LA; and paternal great grandmother , Rita Mae Ford of Abbeville, LA. He leaves to mourn a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
