New Iberia - Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Chad M. Trahan, the former Sharon Breaux, 48, on Monday, July 14, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Msgr. Richard Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 13, 2014, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Monday, July 14, 2014, at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Sunday at 7:00 PM. A native of Breaux Bridge and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Trahan died on Friday, July 11, 2014, at 2:45 PM in a Lafayette hospital. She worked at Walmart, she loved her family, friends, her Walmart family and life in general. She is survived by her husband, Chad M. Trahan; her daughter, London Noel Trahan both of New Iberia; her mother, Dorothy Hebert Breaux of Parks; her brothers, Randy J. Breaux and his wife Marie of Breaux Bridge and Ricky Breaux and his wife Melissa of Cecila; her sisters, Shirlene LeBlanc and her husband Kern, Susan Toucheck and her husband Rodney, and Sandra Seneca and her husband Carl all of Parks; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carrol and Joan C. Trahan of New Iberia; her brother-in-law, Scott Trahan and his wife Allison and sister-in-law, Beth Viator and her husband George all of New Iberia and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Shirly J. Breaux. Pallbearers will be Scott Trahan, Randy Breaux, Ricky Breaux, Carl Seneca, Rodney Toucheck and Kern LeBlanc. The family would like to thank the Staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center for the care they provided Sharon during her stay at the hospital, Amedisys Home Health Care, Hospice of Acadiana and a special thanks to Chancellor E.
