Maurice - A Memorial Service for Mr. Wayne Baudoin, 71, will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, August 1, 2014 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating. The family will gather from 12:00PM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at LeBlanc Cemetery. A native of Abbeville and a resident of Maurice Mr. Baudoin died on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at his residence. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines and was a member of the Cajun Culture Association. He is survived by three sons, Tommy Baudoin and Brenda Turney of Doddridge, AR, Jonny Baudoin and Tina Landry of Abbeville, and Patrick Baudoin and Holly Baudoin of Maurice; a daughter, Rachel Baudoin and George Cormier of Maurice; his mother, Esther B. Baudoin of Maurice; a sister, Esther Comeaux of Maurice eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Boudreaux Baudoin; his father, Thomas George Baudoin; and one grandchild, Olivia Jones. A very special heartfelt thank you to his son Jonny and grandson Alex for their love, devotion, companionship, and care giving, and to Mr. Francis for always being there.
