New Iberia- A memorial service will be held for Mr. Daniel Bernard Hebert, age 55, on Saturday August 2, 2014 at 10:00am at the Holy Family Mausoleum Chapel with Deacon Chris Doumit to serve as the Officiant. Inurnment to follow in the cemetery. A native and resident of New Iberia, "Boo" as he was affectionately, known passed away on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at 3:38pm at a local nursing facility. Daniel enjoyed bird watching, playing bingo, going to the casino, playing computer games, reading about the history of the Royal Family, and keeping up with his family and friends on the computer. He is survived by his father, Daniel Peter Hebert of New Iberia; brothers, Kenny Hebert and wife Shari, Randy Hebert and wife Sandra, David Hebert and wife Roxanne all of New Iberia; sister, Tessi Uhall and husband Mike of New Iberia; Aunt, Nancy Hebert of New Iberia; numerous aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews, Kari Hebert and fiancé Jo-jo Mann of New Iberia, DJ Hebert and wife Missy of Lafayette, Hannah Prince of New Iberia, Lacey Doumit and husband David of New Iberia, Josh Hebert of New Iberia, Katie Uhall of New Iberia and companion Jared Boudreaux, Janie Foco and husband Brennan New Iberia; great nieces and nephews, Liam Hebert and Maddison Hebert both of Lafayette, Ethan Prince, Avery Prince, Ella Prince, Kennedi Doumit, and Colt Foco all of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Corrinne Bonin Hebert, and his paternal and maternal grandparents. Honorary pallbearers will be Kari Hebert, DJ Hebert, Hannah Prince, Lacey Doumit, Josh Hebert, Katie Uhall, Janie Foco, and Cathy Vice. The family would like to thank the staff at Iberia Manor North, Heart of Hospice, and the nurses of the LTAC unit at Iberia Medical Center for the outstanding care and compassion given to Mr. Hebert.
