Alphonse Deussard Broussard

Lafayette - Funeral services will be held for Mr. Alphonse D. Broussard , 90, on Wednesday August 13, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Bill Ruskoski officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 4:00PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM and resume on Wednesday, August 13, 2013 at 8:00 AM until services. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery. Alphonse was a native of Broussard, passed away Sunday August 10, 2014 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. His main concern was his family. He was a strong Christian man who loved doing carpentry, and gardening. He is survived by his wife Anita Viator Broussard of Broussard; three sons, Dan Broussard of New Iberia, Randy Paul and his wife Jamie Broussard of Gonzales, and Tim Broussard of Lafayette; one daughter Peggy Bienvenu of Lafayette; one sister Frances Morvant ; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse and Louise Judice Broussard; two brothers George Broussard, and James Broussard; and his brother-in-law Dickie Morvant. Serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Stutes, Dan, Timmy, Randy Broussard, Timmy Vincent and David Sonnier.
