Lafayette - A Mass of Christian burial for Ms. Dyer will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday August 22 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville. Lectors will be Jan Erin Faulk and Sylvia Watson. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2011 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette, 316 Youngsville Hwy. Lafayette, La at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow services in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Anita Claire Dyer, 67, passed away Saturday August 16, 2014. She was born February 11,1947 in Opelousas, La. daughter of the late Hadley Joseph Dyer and Audrey Major Dyer. Ms.Dyer was an alumna of University of Southwestern Louisiana. She retired as manager of Telecris Plasma Resources, Lafayette, (formerly Acadiana Plasma Center) in 2011 after 36 years of service. She is survived by her brother John Hadley Dyer and his wife Charlotte Hoeffliger Dyer of Broussard. She is also survived by two nieces, Elizabeth Seeger of Broussard and Jennifer Leggett of The Woodlands, Texas; one grandniece, Emily Seeger of Broussard and three grandnephews, John Seeger of Broussard, Harrison Leggett and James Leggett of The Woodlands, Tx. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital or Ronald McDonald House. Pallbearers will be Mark Major, Clarence Lindsly, Carl York, Swayze Walton, Jim Watson,Bill Apperson, Rod Latiolais, and George Bentley.
