Jeanerette - Funeral services will be conducted for Lawrence Paul Sherville, 63, on Monday, September 8, 2014, at 1:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux and Fr. Mark Derise officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, September 8, 2014, from 9:00 AM until the service time. A native and former resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Sherville was a resident of New Orleans. He was employed at Robin Motors for 36 years and retired as the sales manager and was also employed at St. Mary Co-op for 38 years. He served on the Jeanerette Recreation Board and was inducted into the Iberia Parish Softball Hall of Fame. He was an avid Saints and LSU Fan. He loved his grandchildren and loved to dance with his wife. He is survived by his wife, Kathi Wyatt Sherville of New Orleans; his children, Ramsey Sherville Peltier and her husband Chett of Broussard, Nick Sherville and his wife Jenny of Jeanerette and Ben Sherville and his wife Rachel of Metairie; his sisters, Cynthia Muffoletto of Jeanerette, Elizabeth "Doodle" Dykes and Anita Darbonne both of New Iberia; his brothers, Sam Sherville, Jr. of St. Martinville and Randy Sherville of Jeanerette; his grandchildren, Abigail Peltier, Gracie Peltier, Evie Sherville, Owen Sherville and Austin Sherville and his step-children, Leslie Rhein of Wilmington, NC, Kristy Wyatt of Copper Hill, VA, Bryan Wyatt of Youngsville, Kevin Wyatt of Mobile, AL and Kyle Wyatt of Charlotte, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Joseph Sherville, Sr. and Inez Rodriguez Sherville. Pallbearers will be Ben Sherville, Nick Sherville, Chett Peltier, Jeremy Sherville, Mike Robin and Phil Goddard. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Sherville, Jr, Randy Sherville and employees at Robin Motors.
