New Iberia - A gathering of the family will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at David Funeral Home in New Iberia for Patricia Perez Broussard. A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Broussard passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at 12:45 PM in a New Orleans hospital. She loved bowling, friends and family. She is survived by her husband Michael P. Broussard of New Iberia; her children, Christopher M. Broussard, Brent J. Broussard, Leah R. Broussard all of New Iberia and Shelly Lynn Turner of Longview, TX; her siblings, Robert Perez, Jr. of Lafayette, Paul Perez of New Iberia, Liz Lancon of New Iberia, Elma Perez of Jeanerette, Lori Horn, Abbie Perez both of New Iberia, Janice Bourgeois of Jeanerette, Marie Derouen of Meza, Arizona, Lydia Perez Dabney of Virginia and Brenda Derouen of Erath and her grandchild, Tate Froisy of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Perez, Sr. and Antoinette Duhon Perez and her brother, Tex Perez.
