New Iberia - Funeral services will be conducted for Raymond J. Guidry, 65, on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at 2:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Travis Abadie officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 20, 2014, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. A native of St. Martinville and a resident of Broussard, Mr. Guidry passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at 6:50 PM upon arrival at a Lafayette hospital. He was a semi-retired Landman. He loved Golf, The Saints, people and especially his grandchildren, Casey and Landon. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Cay Guidry and her companion Jimbo Love and Sara Alyn Guidry all of Lafayette; his sisters, Jeannine Breaux of Broussard and Annette Begnaud and her husband Charlie of New Iberia; his brothers, Zollie Guidry of Maurice and Allen James Guidry and his wife Jackie of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Casey Cormier and Landon Broussard both of Lafayette and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Woodburn Guidry and his parents, Allen Joseph Guidry and Denise Danet Guidry. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Breaux, Zollie Guidry, Allen Guidry, Jimbo Love, Robin Thomson and Charlie Begnaud.
