Jeanerette - Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Clyde J. Hebert, 68, on Friday, September 26, 2014, at 1:00PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Jody Simoneaux officiating. Altar server will be Gavin Guidry. Interment will follow at Loisel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at David Funeral Home of Jeanerette from 5:00PM until 10:00PM with the recitation of the rosary at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 8:00AM until services. A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Hebert passed away at 8:45AM on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at his residence. He was a retired Welder/Inspector for ten years with TesTex. An avid lover of dogs, he was a trainer of field champion with Labrador Retrievers. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maxine Hebert of Jeanerette; daughters, Tanya Hebert of Jeanerette and Tricia Hebert Ridge and her husband Bryan of Rosenberg, TX.; granddaughters, Tiffany Hebert and Taylor Hebert both of Jeanerette; sisters, Joanne Vines and her husband Jimmy of Jeanerette and Faye Kern and her husband Huey of New Iberia; brothers, Richard Hebert and his wife Bea of Jeanerette and C. J. Hebert and his wife Annette of Jeanerette; brother-in-law, Curless Bouillion of New Iberia; special friends, Speedy Joe Hebert and Bitsy Hebert as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Sinitiere and Clesma Hebert, Sr.; son, Timothy J. Hebert; sister, Elizabeth Bouillion and grandson Tad Hebert. Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Bouillion, Robert Vines, C.J. Hebert, Joe Trahan, Bryan Ridge and Adam Marquette. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Hebert, Curless Bouillion, Huey Kern and Jimmy Vines.
