Jeanerette - A Memorial Service will be held at later date for Mr. Curtis A. Savoie, 75. A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Savoie died at 9:58PM on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Dauterive Hospital. He was known for his love of football. He is survived by daughter, Corinne Savoie of Jeanerette; granddaughter, Jade Rushing; brother, Benjamin Savoie, Sr. of Jeanerette; and sister, Audrey Bordelon of Marksville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ory and Mary Guillotte Savoie; a brother, Russell Savoie; and a sister, Shirley Adams.
