LAFAYETTE-A Mass of Christian burial for Curley Joseph Vallot Jr. age 70, will be held at 11:00AM on Friday October 24, 2014 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville. The Rev. Jason Mouton will be officiating at the services. Interment will follow in St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 23, 2014 from 2:30PM until 10:00PM at David Funeral Home in Lafayette. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00PM Thursday October 23,2014 in the funeral home. Visitation will continue Friday October 24, 2014 from 8:00AM until service time on Friday. Curley J. Vallot Jr. was born September 3, 1944 in Youngsville, LA. Mr. Vallot enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and his farm animals. He was an avid LSU fan and hardly ever missed a game. Mr. Vallot was also a member of the Knights of Columbus for over thirty years. He is survived by his three sons; Chris Vallot (Donalyn), Rod Vallot (Tifany), and Eric Vallot (Kandy) all of Youngsville; brother; Russell "Rock" Vallot of Youngsville; Sister Betty Pritchett of South Carolina; five grandchildren; Kaily Vallot, Heath Vallot, Grant Vallot, Avery Vallot, and Kody Poirrier; two great-grandchildren; Khloe Poirrier and Khylie Poirrer. He is preceded in death by his parents; Curley Vallot Sr., the former Mazie Menard; and one brother Jesse Vallot. Serving as his Pallbearers will be Eric Vallot, Rod Vallot, Heath Vallot, Grant Vallot, Micky Wood, and Jeff Leblanc. Honorary Pallbearers will be Percy Menard and Grape Nolan.
