New Iberia - Funeral services will be conducted for Debra Bourque Collins, 55, on Monday, October 27, 2014 at David Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Rev. Zack Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home on Sunday, October 26, 2014, from 10:00 AM until time of service on Monday, October 27, 2014 in David Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will last all night. A native of Lafayette and a life long resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Collins died on Friday, October 24, 2014, at 12:53 AM at her residence. She enjoyed sports, cleaning houses and playing cards. She is survived by her sons; Danny Babineaux, Jr. of New Iberia, and Todd Babineaux and his wife Ashley Gerard of New Iberia; fiancée of eight years, Jimmy Edwards of New Iberia; step-daughters Aubrey and Lola Edwards of McComb, MS; sisters Goldie Wallis and her husband Joseph "Joe" Wallis, Sr. of New Iberia, Sandra Borton and her husband Michael of New Iberia, and Brenda Suire and her husband Stanley of Cypress Island; brothers Jimmy Bourque, Sr. and his wife Barbara of New Iberia, Randy Bourque and his Fiancee Billie Joe Dupuy of New Iberia; grandchilderen Drake, Alina and Tori Babineaux of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her parents Victorian Bourque and Norma Gary Bourque; brother David Bourque, Sr. Pallbearers will be Danny Babineaux, Jr., Todd Babineaux, Patrick Bourque, Jimmy Bourque, Jr., Joseph Wallis, Jr. and Shannon Suire.
