Loreauville - Funeral services will be conducted for Francis J. Dupoy, 88, on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at 3:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, from 8:00 AM until the time of service. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. A native and resident of Loreauville, Mr. Dupoy passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014, at 10:04 PM in a Lafayette hospital. He was a retired welder at Breaux's Bay Craft and also worked at Neuville Boat Works. He is survived by his daughter, Gladys D. Lasseigne and her husband Wayne of Loreauville; his son, Warren Dupoy and his wife Christine of Breaux Bridge; his sister, Mildred Gonsoulin of Loreauville; his grandchildren, Dillon Lasseigne of Loreauville, Heidi Bryan of Pennsylvania, Raylene Choplin of Breaux Bridge and Francine Dupoy of Lafayette and also survived by those he considered his grandchildren, Brandi Walet, Misty Delahoussaye, Lacy Fontenot and Dusty Neuville; five great grandchildren; his nephews, Gregory Chastant, Jim Faucheaux and Ronnie Gonsoulin, Jr. and his nieces Janice Crochet, Jessie Prados, Ella Breaux, Angie Faucheaux and Claudet Berard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorena Broussard Dupoy; his parents, Octave and Theresa Broussard Dupoy; his sister, Bertha Dupoy and his brother, Polo Dupoy. Pallbearers will be Kerry Neuville, Errol Neuville, Shane Walet, Ronnie Gonsoulin, Jr., Robert Bryan, Jr. and Dusty Neuville.
