Jeanerette - Funeral services will be conducted for Nettie Rodriguez Dupuy, 90, on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Masuoleum. Visitation will be on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 7:30 AM until the service time. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 AM. A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Dupuy passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 2:10 PM in a New Iberia hospital. She is survived by her son, Ulysses Dupuy, Jr. and his wife Gayle of Jeanerette; his grandchildren, Jennifer Tugwell and her husband Earl Ventress of Franklin and Jeanette Savoie and her husband Destry of Jeanerette and her great grandchildren, Hailey Tugwell, Lasher Dupuy, Terence Charles all of Franklin, Shawn Savoie and Charles Bourque, Jr. both of Jeanerette. She was preceded in death by her husband Ulysses Dupuy, Sr.; her parents, Albert and Constance Rivet Rodriguez and her grandchild, Tammy Dupuy. Pallbearers will be Earl Ventress, Lasher Dupuy, Terence Charles, Destry Savoie, Shawn Savoie and Charles Bourque, Jr.. Honorary pallbearers will be Torre Tugwell and Claude Nedd.
