Faye Hebert Kern

New Iberia - Funeral services will be conducted for Faye Hebert Kern, 61, on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at 2:30 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Neel officiating. Burial will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, November 17, 2014, from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at 9:00 AM until the service time. A native of Jeanerette and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Kern passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at 3:08 AM at her residence. She was a "Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother" She was employed at Doug Ashy Lumber in New Iberia. She loved landscaping, cooking and was a devoted Christian who loved her Lord. She is survived by her husband, Huey Kern of New Iberia; her children, Rachel Kern of New Iberia, Jerrod Kern and his wife Faith of Youngsville and Brandon Kern of New Iberia; her sister, Joanne Vines of Jeanerette; her brothers, Richard Hebert and Clesma "C. J." Hebert, Jr. both of Jeanerette and her grandchildren, Karsyn Grace Gary, Emily Kern and Preston Kern. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clesma Hebert, Sr. and Dorothy Sinitiere Hebert; her brother, Clyde Hebert and her sister, Elizabeth Bouillion. Pallbearers will be Jerrod Kern, Brandon Kern, C. J. Hebert, Jr., Richard Hebert, Shane Bouillion and Robert Vines.
