May "Pupe" Boudreaux Miller

May 7, 1946 — November 19, 2014

Loreauville- Funeral services will be held for Mrs. John C. Miller Sr., the former May Helen Boudreaux, age 68, on Friday November 21, 2014 at 10:00am at David Funeral Home of Loreauville with Father Buddy Breaux to serve as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday November 20, 2014 at 5:00pm and conclude at 9:00pm with a recitation of the rosary at 6pm. Visitation will resume on Friday from 8:00am until the time of service. A native of Iberia parish and former resident of Loreauville, "Pupe" as she was affectionately known, passed away on Wednesday November 19, 2014 at 4:43am at a local nursing facility. Mrs. Miller was always a very outgoing woman and loved to make people laugh. She enjoyed music and socializing with her friends. Mrs. May had a good heart. She spent over 20 years caring for her parents, an act that her family was very proud of her for. The best part of her life was the time she got to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Miller's surviving relatives are her sons, Daniel Miller and wife Gwen of Loreauville, John Miller Jr. and wife Lori of St. Martinville; daughter, Jeanie Miller of Loreauville; brother, Louis Boudreaux Sr. and wife Dorothy of New Iberia; sister, Alberta B. Theriot and companion William Louviere of Erath; and five grandchildren, Rylan, Kayleigh, and Brannon Miller all of Loreauville, Alana Miller of Henry, and Savana Miller of St. Martinville. She was preceded in death by her husband John Cleveland Miller Sr.; parents, Adler Boudreaux Sr. and Yola Latiolais Boudreaux; brother, Adler Boudreaux Jr.; and sister, Gertrude B. Comeaux. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Daniel Miller, John Miller Jr., Rylan Miller, Brannon Miller, Alana Miller, and Armand Berard. The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice and Iberia Manor North for the care and compassion shown to Mrs. Miller.
