Lafayette - Funeral services for Carol J. Dugas, 84, will be held Wednesday November 26, 2014 at 10:00 AM in David Funeral Home, with Brother Steve Crappel officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery. A native of a Bosco and a resident of Youngsville Carol passed away Sunday November 23, 2014. He was a veteran US Army, a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and great great grandfather. Survivors include his three children Barbara Broussard of Breaux Bridge, Debra Bryan of Maurice, and Tommy Dugas of Youngsville; thirteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; and two great grandchild. Carol was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Morgan Dugas; his parents Gaston J. Dugas Sr. and Ruth Comeaux; his daughter Carol Ann Breaux; grandson Keith Cortez; and two granddaughters Sunshine Dugas, and Denise Breaux. Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Bryan, Phil Williams, Rusty Carriere, Tony Guidry, Harry Broussard, and Austin Broussard. Honorary pallbearers will be Quinton Thibodeaux, and Parker Veggeberg.
