Mabel Morvant Rabeaux

March 28, 1932 — December 8, 2014

Youngsville - A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Mabel Morvant Rabeaux, 82, will be held at 7:00PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Lafayette. Interment will follow at a later date. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. A native of Milton and a resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Badeaux died at 2:05PM on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Camelot of Broussard. She worked at the Council on Aging and also helped at Evangeline Elementary School. She is survived by two sons, Karl J. Rabeaux and his wife Donna of Youngsville and Gregory Rabeaux and his wife Bobbi Jo of Youngsville; six grandchildren, Jason Rabeaux, Nick Rabeaux, Kris Turner, Glenn Rabeaux, Brittni Rabeaux, and Michelle Rabeaux; and Seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ada Morvant; a daughter, Rachael R. Turner; a son, Glenn Rabeaux; two brothers, Artie Morvant and Philman Morvant; and two sisters, Bella M. Broussard and Nolia Morvant. The family has requested in lieu of flowers make donations to Heart of Hospice. David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville will be handling the arrangements.
