Jeanerette- Funeral services will be conducted for Mr. Donald Paul Landry, age 57, on Sunday December 21, 2014 at the Pentecostals of Lydia Church at 2:00pm with Brother Ronnie Perkins to serve as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Memorial Park. Visitation will begin on Saturday December 20, 2014 from 10:00am until 9:00pm. Visitation will continue on Sunday December 21, 2014 from 8:00am until service time. A native of Franklin and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Landry died on Tuesday December 16, 2014 at 11:08pm at his residence. Mr. Landry was a project manager with Burner Fire Control but was a contract welder in the oilfield all of his life. An avid reader, Mr. Landry enjoyed researching new things and never stopped learning throughout his life. As a man of faith, his passion was studying the word of God, preaching the gospel, and he was an active member of the Pentecostals of Lydia Church. Survivors include his children, Shane Landry Sr. of Breaux Bridge, Brandy Cornwell and husband Tyler Sr. of New Iberia, Rafe Hebert and wife Samantha of Youngsville, Chad Landry and wife Melanie of New Iberia, Aaron Landry of Jeanerette; grandchildren, Bridget Landry, Shane Landry Jr., Christopher Landry, Austin Landry, Justin Landry, Tyler Cornwell Jr., Raya Hebert, Kelly Landry, Lauren Landry; siblings, Nancy Boutte and husband Louis of Krotz Springs, Ronald James Landry of Alexandria, Annette Adams of TN., Randy Landry of Lydia, Timothy Landry of Jeanerette, Todd Landry of Jeanerette; his nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loisel Landry Sr. and Helen Louviere Landry; and two brothers, Loisel "Bonnie" Landry Jr. and Roland "Joey" Landry Jr. Serving as Pallbearers are Lionel "Frenchy" O'bert, Shane Landry Sr., Rafe Hebert, Chad Landry, Aaron Landry, and Paul Archangel.
