LAFAYETTE-Funeral services will be held for Jacob Anthony Romero, age 21, at an 11:00AM service on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at David Funeral Home in Lafayette. Pastor Tommy Faulk along with associate Pastors will be officiating at the services. Interment will follow St. Ann Catholic Cemetery in Youngsville. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM and continue on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 8:00AM until service time at David Funeral Home in Lafayette. Jacob Anthony Romero Was born November 2, 1993 in Lake Charles, LA. He served in the United States National Guard from April 8th, 2011 until present day. Jacob was a free spirit' and lived life to the fullest. His passion and love was for the military, and he dedicated his life to recruiting soldiers and training to be a respectable soldier himself. He had a love for animals too. Jacob was known for his contagious white smile and silly antics. He will be greatly loved, missed and remembered by all of his family. He is survived by his parents; Shane and Tammy (Shelly) Romero, brother; Blake Romero, grandparents; Elaine Cormier of Youngsville, Bob and Geraldine Mancanel of Iowa, countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends Ken Davie, Victoria Gibson, Frankie Gathe, and Beau Vincent. Pallbearers will be Aaron Dubois, Beau Vincent, Laine Stutes, Ken Davie, Victoria Gibson, and Frankie Gathe.
