New Iberia- Funeral services will be held at a later date in Batson, TX for Mrs. Mary Corrine F. Young, age 98. Mrs. Young, who often went by Corrine, passed away on Sunday January 18, 2015 at 10:50am at a local nursing facility. She is survived by her children, Samma Murphy and husband Wayne of Saratoga, TX, Betty Baughn and husband Lynn of Mathis, TX, Doyle Young and wife Peggy of New Iberia; nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Young is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Young Jr; parents, Calvin and Nancy Roundtree Flowers, and all of her brothers and sisters.
