John Lane Bonin

New Iberia - Funeral services will be conducted for John Lane Bonin, 52, on Friday, January 23, 2015, at 4:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Gary Schexnayder officiating. Inurnment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum at a later date. Visitation will be on Friday, January 23, 2015, from 7:00 AM until 4:00 PM and a rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Friday at 3:00 PM. A native of New Iberia and a resident of Coteau, Mr. Bonin passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at 7:07 AM at a Lafayette hospital. He loved sports and was an avid LSU Fan. He was a service technician for satellite TV. He is survived by his companion, Tressie Broussard of Coteau; his daughters, Allison and Breanne Bonin both of New Iberia; his mother, Margaret Joubert Bonin of New Iberia; his brothers, Hayward "Moose" Bonin, Jr. and his wife Nancy Bonin, Guy Bonin and his wife Dr. Renee Bonin and Jeff Bonin and his wife Chantel Bonin all of New Iberia; his sister, Susan Bertrand and her husband Ricky of New Iberia; his step-daughter, Hannah Touchet of Coteau and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Hayward Joseph Bonin, Sr. and his brother, Dwight Bonin. Pallbearers will be Hayward "Moose" Bonin, Jr., Guy Bonin, Jeff Bonin, Ricky Bertrand, Marcus Louviere, Kylan Bonin, Ryan Bonin, Austin Bonin and Landon Romero.
