Erath- A Mass of Christian Burial for Janell Rita Lange Romero age 76, will be held on Thursday January 29, 2015 at 11:00AM in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Melancon Officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Wednesday January 28, 2015 from 1:00PM until 10:00PM with a rosary at 7:00PM in the funeral home. Visitation will continue Thursday January 29, 2015 from 8:00AM until services at 11:00AM in the church. Mrs. Janell Romero was a lifelong resident of Erath, La. and a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Mrs. Romero passed away Monday January 26, 2015 at Lafayette General Medical Center. She was married in 1956 to Cebre Romero and had two wonderful children who became her life and love. Mrs. Romero was a very kind hearted woman who always provided for her family. She enjoyed nature, and had a love for animals. Mrs. Romero was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-seven years; Cebre Romero, daughter; Carla Romero Hebert (Wayne), son; Marcus James Romero (Frankie), brother; Gerald Lange, grandsons; Blake Hebert (Joanna), and Brandon Hebert (Jamie), granddaughter; Bliss Leblanc (Eric), great-grandchildren; Ahna Hebert, Madelyn Hebert, and Julianna Hebert all of Erath, La.
