Walter Dugan, Sr.

July 28, 1947 — February 4, 2015

New Iberia - Memorial services will be conducted for Mr. Walter Dugan, Sr., 67, on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 2:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Dore officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Beau Pre Memorial Park Mausoleum. A gathering of the family and friends will begin at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Dugan passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at 4:15 PM at his residence. He was the owner and operator of Dugan's Bakery in St. Martinville. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam Era having served in the U. S. Air Force. He loved fishing, baking and poker. He is survived by his daughter, Holly Elizabeth Delcambre and her husband Scott of New Iberia; her brothers, Walter "Pokey" Dugan, Jr. of Humble, TX, Brandon Dugan and Aaron Dugan both of New Iberia; his sisters, Irene Boutte, Dixie Comeaux both of New Iberia and Tracey Sananikone of Baton Rouge; his brothers, Tim Dugan and John Dugan both of Butte LaRose; his grandchildren, Brandy Dugan Owens and husband Raven, Monica Dugan, Brittany Perez, Kylie Smith, Aaiken Dugan, Davanee Dugan, Ethan Delcambre, Evan Delcambre and Makynli Delcambre and his great grandchildren, Kamryn Gondron, Collin Gondron, Natalie Perez, Alex Perez and Aubrie Perez. He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Dugan; his mother, Georgette Gonzales Dugan and his sister, Mildred Robicheaux.
