Theresa Ann Fouquier

April 24, 1951 — February 26, 2015

New Iberia- A private family service will be held for Mrs. Theresa Ann Fouquier, age 63, on Sunday March 1, 2015. Inurnment will follow at a later date. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Fouquier passed away on Thursday February 26, 2015 at 6:15pm at a Lafayette hospital. After graduating from Mt. Carmel, Mrs. Fouquier became an accountant and worked for Patout Burns Firestone and Coburn Supply for a number of years. She enjoyed playing poker on the computer, reading, and travelling. She especially loved the beach. Her greatest passion was being a mother and grandmother. She loved to take care of her grandchildren and found great joy in being a grandmother. She is survived by her children, Christie Gaudin and husband Mark, Kenny Theriot; brothers, Kim Fouquier and wife Kathy, and Mitchell Fouquier all of New Iberia; seven grandchildren, and her two dachshunds, Maggie and Jojo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Fouquier Jr. and Phyllis Lee Fouquier; one brother, Ross Fouquier; and one son, Kevin Theriot.
