Lucille Derouen Alleman

Jeanerette - Funeral services will be conducted for Lucille Derouen Alleman, 88, on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at 1:30 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Burial will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, from 9:00 AM until the service time and a rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. A native of Jeanerette and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Alleman passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 12:55 AM in a New Iberia hospital. She was a nurse's aide and retired from Iberia Medical Center. She also sold AVON Products for several years and did private duty nursing for the elderly. She collected dolls and antiques and was known for making handmade Christmas Ornaments and Christmas Stockings for her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, a good friend to her neighbors and loved gardening, traveling and going to the casino. She is survived by her son, Harvey Bouton, Jr. and his wife Tana of New Iberia; her daughters, Phyllis Viator and her husband Rickey of Destin, FL and Sheila Martin and her husband Randy of Franklin; her son-in-law, Eli Migues of Jeanerette; her sister, Verline Stelly and her husband Freddie of Duson; her grandchildren, Melissa Veronie, Kevin, Chris, Stefan and Katie Bouton, Angela Viator, Amy Jayne, Kynan Viator, Trent and Travis Martin, Alison Pichoff, Dawn and Heidi Migues; twenty great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and her former spouse and friend, Harvey Bouton, Sr.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vallerie "Ray" Alleman; her father, Delino Derouen; her mother, Anna Smith Derouen; her daughter, Brenda Migues; her sisters, Inez Bourgeois and Marguerite D. Rogers and her brothers, J. T. Derouen and Wilfred "Boogie" Derouen. Pallbearers will be Kevin, Chris and Stefan Bouton, Trent and Travis Martin and Brett Pichoff. Honorary pallbearers will be Kynan Viator and Sonny Pichoff.
