Margueritte "Meaux" Robertson

Loreauville - Funeral services will be conducted for Margueritte Provost "Meaux Dog" Robertson, 78, on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Loreauville with Father Buddy Breaux officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 8:00 AM until the time of the service. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. A native of Loreauville and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Robertson passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 9:40 AM in a Lafayette hospital. She was a Customer Service Representative for Bell South for 36 years. She was a devoted Catholic and loved Facebook. She is survived by her sons, Curtis Paul "Coon Dog" Robertson of New Iberia, Robert Scott "Magoo" Robertson of Abbeville and Randolph James "Bed Rat" Robertson and his wife Annette of Opelousas; her daughters, Lola Marie Robertson Helton and her husband Paul of Landrum, SC and Elizabeth Faye Robertson Spencer and her husband Rick of Pensacola, FL; her brothers, Alfred John Provost, Gerald Michael Provost and his wife Liz, Ronald Steven Provost and his wife Yvonne all of Loreauville and Larry James Provost and his companion Karen of Cleveland, TX; her sisters, JoAnn Provost Fuselier of St. Martinville, Katherine Provost Delahoussaye and her husband Lynn of Loreauville and Brenda Provost Bergeron and her husband Ralph of New Iberia; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Robertson, II; her parents, Lunius J. and Esmay Gondron Provost and one grandchild, Mark Robertson. Pallbearers will be Darryl Astbury, Brandon Astbury, Titan Robertson, Danny Camacho, Tom Keohavong, Morris Robertson and Curtis Robertson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald, Alfred, Larry and Gerald Provost.
