Abbeville - A Mass of Christian burial for Jeanne Hebert Bernard, 88, will be held Thursday April 30, 2015 at 3:00PM in St. John Catholic Church in Henry, with father Manny Fernandez Pastor of St. John officiating. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery in Erath. Visitation will be held at St. John Catholic Church Thursday April 30, 2015 from 1:00PM until time of services, with a Rosary recited at 2:00PM. A native of Vermilion parish and a resident of Erath Mrs. Bernard passed away Tuesday April 28, 2015 at her residence in Erath. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her three daughters and their husbands Donna Joan and her husband Daniel Broussard of Erath, Nina Rae and her husband Randall Perrin of Henry, and Jamie Clair and her husband Mark Buetow of Lafayette; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and one brother John Edwin Hebert of Perry. Mrs. Bernard was preceded in death by her husband Raymond W. Bernard; her parents Clemille and Leonie Lachausse Hebert; two sisters Cecile H. Butcher, and Helen H. Fortier; and one brother David Hebert. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Broussard, Chip Perrin, Julian Buetow, Isaac Buetow, Michael Henderson and Benjamin Roth.
