New Iberia - Funeral services will conducted for David Wells "Bone" Ramsey, 41, on Friday, May 22, 2015, at 7:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be on Friday, May 22, 2015, from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM. A native of Lafayette and a resident of New Iberia, David passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 8:16 AM in New Iberia. David "Bone" was known for his big heart and always had a smile on his face. He would do anything for anybody. He had the great ability to bring himself to his niece's and nephew's level and make them laugh and left them with very fond memories of "Uncle Bone". David was a caring son, loving father, brother, uncle and friend. David loved his family and friends. He loved art and was extremely talented at it. He left many pieces of his work for all of us to enjoy. He also enjoyed shooting pool and hanging with friends. He was a welder by trade, working at several companies thru out New Iberia. He is survived by his father, Robert Ramsey of Center, TX; his mother and step-father, Linda Robicheaux Delcambre and Jackie Delcambre; his son, Tate Ramsey of New Iberia; his sister, Laurie Ramsey; his brothers, Troy Ramsey and his fiancee' Annette Robicheaux and Chad Ramsey all of New Iberia; his special friend, Rachelle Choate of New Iberia; his grandmother, Mattie Jo Ramsey of Ball; his godson, Brett Ramsey; his nieces and nephews, Ashley, Brett, Rikki, Jamie, Christopher Gavin, Tori and Seth Ramsey, Heather Chavis, Derek Bourque,Jade Ramsey and Rileigh Delcambre; his great nieces and nephews, Lyric, Owen, Luca, Ava and Auria; his aunt, Kay Dauterive; his sister-in-law, Pam Ramsey Gosek of New Iberia and a special little girl in his life, Stevie Ray. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Asay and Ormine Robicheaux; Paternal Grandfather, Rayford Ramsey and his Paternal Step-Grandfather, Harry Ransonet.
