ERATH-A Mass of Christian Burial for Marianne Geoffroy Thibodeaux, 92, will be 11:00AM Friday May 22, 2015 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Melancon officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Visitation will be David Funeral Home of Erath Thursday May 21, 2015 from 11:00AM until 9:00PM with recitation of the Rosary at 6:00PM and will resume Friday from 8:00AM until service time. Marianne, a native and life resident of Vermilion Parish passed away Wednesday May 20, 2015 at Eastridge Assisted Living Facility. She was a volunteer for Abbeville General Hospital and a member of The Homemaker's Club of Vermilion Parish. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She is survived by her nephew Geary Viator and wife Peggy Turner Viator of Erath; her cousin Merline Geoffroy Comeaux and husband Junius Comeaux of New Iberia, and a special friend Mildred Geoffroy of Erath She is preceded in death by her husband Percy Thibodeaux, an infant daughter, her parents Willie and Ita Geoffroy, and brother Wilmer Geoffroy. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff and workers of Eastridge Assisted Living Facility and Heart of Hospice.
