A Mass of Christian Burial for C.H. Howard Driggers, 89, will be 10:00am Thursday June 4, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard with Rev. Bill Ruskoski officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Mausoleum in Esther, LA. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette Wednesday June 3, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume Thursday from 8:00am until service time. Howard, born in Heflin, LA and a resident of Broussard passed away Monday June 1, 2015 in his residence. He was a U.S. Army Veteran stationed in the South Pacific, New Guinea and The Philippines. He retired from Halliburton as a Supervisor after 32 years of service. He was very active in the Catholic Church and was a 4th degree Knight with Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus at the time of his death. He was a devoted father who loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Dorothy "Dot" Driggers of Broussard; 3 daughters, Katherine Driggers of Mansfield, LA, Patricia M. Randall and Husband Kenneth of Jena, LA, Bea Moore and Husband Michael of Arnaudville, LA; 1 Sister, Helen Pate of Ringgold, LA; 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Thelma Driggers, his grandson Eddie Primeaux, 2 brothers Troy and Billy Driggers, 2 sisters Gloria Franklin and Theda Litton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Hospice. Serving as Pallbearers will be Michael Moore, Kenneth Randall, Dwayne Spears, John Spears, Jeremy Comeaux and John Poole. Serving as honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny Spears and Nico Spears.
