Loreauville - Funeral services will be conducted for Marietta Judice Prince, 89, on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Paul Onuegbe officiating. Burial will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Friday, June 26, 2015, from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Friday at 7:00 PM. A native and resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Prince passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at 1:14 PM at her daughter's residence. Mrs. Marietta Prince had a kind and gentle spirit. She believed that family, God and prayer were the three most important things in her life. Her life reflected what she believed. She was a loving wife and mother. She devoted her life to taking care of her family. Her most favorite prayer was the Rosary which she prayed numerous times. Praying the Rosary gave her a great deal of peace and joy. Often times as a child while kneeling next to her father reciting the Rosary she saw the face of Jesus. We know in our hearts that heaven has open its doors to you and you are now in God's presence and glory for all of eternity. Once again heaven has gained a beautiful soul. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Louis Prince of Loreauville; her daughter and caregiver, Gale Prince Holmes and her husband Ken of Loreauville; her son, Gary Prince and his wife Paulette of Loreauville; her sister, Sadie Olivier of St. Martinville; her brothers, Harold Judice of Loreauville, Allen Judice of St. Martinville and Leonard Judice of Coteau; her grandson, Jacob Paul Prince of Loreauville and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Enoe Judice, Sr. and Yolande Wiltz Judice; her sisters, Audrey Judice, Mary Rose Judice Olivier and Pauline Judice; her brothers, Enoe Judice, Jr., Paul Judice and Johnny Judice; her grandson, Jordan Michael Prince; her niece, Emily Judice Champagne and her nephew, Trey Judice. Pallbearers will be Robert Earl Lefleur, Ronald Prince, Jimmy Mire, Johnny Melancon, Patrick Judice and Paul Judice, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Rene Olivier, Noltan Prince, Gary Louis Prince and Jacob Paul Prince.
