LoreauvilleFuneral services will be conducted for Chad James Murdock-LeBlanc, 44, on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Padinjarepeedikaq officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Loreauville 118 Main Street on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 2:00 PM till 10:00 PM with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM and will resume Friday, July 31, 2015 at 8:00 AM till the time of service. Native and lifelong resident of Loreauville, Chad died on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 2:03 AM in Abbeville, LA. Chad was a skilled welder for the past 26 years. He was a loving father to his two sons. He loved being with people and was an avid video game player. He was quite a jokester with his friends and family. He is survived by his Mother Gerelda Vaughn and her companion Allen Sorrel of Loreauville, his father Weber Johnny LeBlanc, Jr. and step-mother Darlene LeBlanc; Sons Cainn and Caleb Leblanc of New Iberia; sister Kelly Sorrel and partner John McBride of New Iberia; brothers Jade, Jarrad and Damon LeBlanc of New Iberia; maternal grandfather Gerald Vaughn of Loreauville; uncles Dale Vaughn of Loreauville, Steve and Kenny LeBlanc of New Iberia and aunt and uncle Jody and John Standridge of Loreauville; and two very special cousin who were like a brother and sister to Chad, Jeremy and Jamie Standridge, and former spouse Chynna Prince-LeBlanc of Lydia. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Rachel Vaughn, paternal grandfather Weber LeBlanc, Sr.; paternal grandmother Levia Marie Leblanc and cousin Jade Standridge.
