Jeanerette - Funeral Services for Loretta Palumbo Borel, 70, will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at David Funeral Chapel of Jeanerette. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Jeanerette on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 9:00AM until the time of the services. A native of Abbeville and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Borel died at 5:20AM on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Iberia Medical Center. She is survived by a son, Carrol Borel, Jr. of Jeanerette; two daughters, Gwendolyn Sandley of Orlando, FL, and Stephanie Borel of New Iberia; three sisters, Virginia Borel of Jeanerette, Verna Davis of Denham Springs, and Lena Palumbo of Denham Spring; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and the father of her children, Carrol Borel, Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy and Anna Mae LeBlanc Palumbo. Serving as pallbearers will be Carrol Borel, Jr. Jeffery Borel, Carson Borel, Stephanie Borel, Dwight Derise, and Derwood Derise. David Funeral Home of Jeanerette at 400 Provost St. (337)276-5151 will be handling the arrangements.
