ABBEVILLE - Memorial services for James (Jimboy) Menard "The Karaoke Man" were held at 10:30AM Saturday September 12, 2015 in his residence. Jimboy passed away Wednesday August 26, 2015 at Maison Du Monde nursing home in Abbeville, he was 69. He was born in Breaux Bridge and lived in New Iberia for several years where he worked for Cajun Co-op as a house mechanic before moving to Abbeville. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Verline Primeaux Menard of Abbeville; brother Simon Menard Jr. and wife Delores of New Iberia; sister Jeanette Menard Sheriville and husband Sam Jr. of St. Martinville. He was preceded in death by his parents Simon Menard Sr. and Elina Simon Menard.
