Cecile Frederick Viator

Loreauville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Cecile Frederick Viator, age 89, on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Ed Degeyter to serve as the celebrant. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Loreauville. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:00 am until the time of services, the funeral home will remain open all night. A recitation of the Rosary will be conducted on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 6:30 pm. A native of Loreauville and resident of New Iberia, Cecile Frederick Viator, known lovingly as "Mom Ses" by friends and family, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 11:35 am in a local hospital. "Mom Ses" enjoyed spending her time playing at the casino, playing pokeno, bourré, and trying her luck at bingo. She will be missed dearly by friends and family. Mrs. Viator is survived by her son Lawrence "Toblanc" Viator of Loreauville; daughter Peggy V. Nash and husband Lynn of Pinebluff, Arkansas; daughter Gloria Viator; Son Ophe Viator Jr. of Loreauville; son Larry Viator of New Iberia; Son Wilfred "Pap" Viator of Parks; sister Maydell Peltior of Loreauville,brother; Ernie Broussard and his wife Patsy of St. Martinville; thirty-three grandchildren; sixty great grandchildren; and fifteen great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Mayous Frederick and Stephalin Hebert Frederick; husband, Ophe Viator, Sr., daughters Elaine Viator Dugas; Lou Ella Viator Louviere; and Gayle Viator Bergeron; Brothers Harry Frederick and Cleveland "Cleve" Frederick; and Sister; Bernice Chatagnier. Upholding the honor of pallbearers will be Larry Viator, Jr., Codi Viator, Toby Viator, Jake Pelous, Troy Daigle, and Tommy Dugas.
