Phyllis was a native of Pecan Island, Louisiana, having moved here in 1978 to persue her passion in cosmotology. She grew roots and became enchanted by the business of cajun country. Phyllis loved her family so much. Her one motivation in life was to care for and love her daughter and two grandbabies. She loved tending to her flowers and enjoying quiet times on her porch. Above all, she was beyond devoted to her faith in God. Phyllis was a breast cancer survivor of 12 years. Although ultimately losing the fight to lung cancer and was sick throughout the end of her days, she still wore her heart and let it show in anything and everything that she did. Her love for people and her gentle hand was obvious. She touched many lives and was so grateful and blessed to have had everyone there by her side throughout her fight. If there was anything that was undeniable about her, it was her will to live and courage to fight. Those who knew Phyllis can definitely say that she was an angel on Earth and one in a million. She will deeply be missed by so many. Just when the caterpillar thought that her life was over, she began to fly. She is survived by her daughter Jade Broussard and Spouse Andres Aguirre; two grand-daughters Amarissa and Lylah.
