ABBEVILLE - A Mass of Christian Burial for Paula Lyn Broussard Wooton, 50, will be 3:00PM Monday October 5, 2015 in St. Mary Magdelen Catholic Church with Father Brian Harrington officiating. Visitation will be in David Funeral Home of Abbeville Monday October 5, 2015 from 10:00AM until service time with recitation of the rosary at 1:00PM. Paula, a native of Erath and a resident of Youngsville, passed away Saturday October 3, 2015 in her residence. She was an accomplished artist with a love and knowledge of all types of painting styles. She enjoyed her morning run and spending as much time at the beach as possible. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will forever be remembered by all those she touched. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Paul R. Wooton of Youngsville; her sons Kyle Wooton of Erath, and Austin Wooton of Youngsville; a sister, Michelle Niette and husband Evan of Maurice; her parents Rodney and Geraldine Faulk Broussard of Lafayette; her nephews Dex and Connor; and a niece Kirstin all of Maurice. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Paul and Solange Broussard; and her maternal grandparents Lennis and Ella Faulk. Serving as her Pallbearers will be Kyle Wooton, Austin Wooton, Dex Comeaux, Connor Comeaux, Braxton Pommier, and J.P. Poche. Serving as her Honorary Pallbearers will be Kirstin Hebert, Gracie Seaux, John Wooton, and David Wooton.
