Rynella - Funeral services will be conducted for Clayton Simeon Biggerstaff, 71, on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at 11:00 AM at St. Marcellus Catholic Church with Father Kendall Faulk officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Marcellus Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM. The Men's Rosary will recite the rosary in the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:00 PM. A native of Washington, DC and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Biggerstaff passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at 12:26 AM in a Houston, TX hospital. He served in the Army National Guard of Louisiana. He was the co-owner of S & W Machine Shop and a Cattle Farmer at the Broken W. Ranch. He was an avid gardener, loved birds and wildlife and was a gun collector. He is survived by his wife, Verna Hughes Biggerstaff of New Iberia; his sons, Chris Biggerstaff and his wife Kim of The Woodlands, TX and Heath Biggerstaff and his wife Tracy of Youngsville; his daughter, Jessica Moody and her husband Brian of Katy, TX; his sister, Janis M. Wilson of New Iberia and his grandchildren, Anna-Claire Biggerstaff, Campbell Biggerstaff, Julia Biggerstaff all of The Woodlands, TX, Bella Biggerstaff of Youngsville, Kaylin Moody and Owen Moody both of Katy, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack Wilson and Irene Cestia Wilson; his daughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Biggerstaff and his sister, Neila Jean Biggerstaff. Pallbearers will be Christopher Biggerstaff, Heath Biggerstaff, Brian Moody, Burt Cestia, Sr., Wayne Cestia, Sanford Armentor and Ronald "Red" LaBauve.
