Russell Peter Myers

New Iberia - Mr. Russell Peter Myers, 79, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at 4:59 PM at his residence. Mr. Myers was a 1955 graduate of New Iberia High School. He was a photographer at the Daily Iberian for 14 years then was employeed and retired from San Jancito Graphics in Houston, TX after 32 years of employment. Mr. Myers served in the Louisiana Army National Guard. He is survived by his daughters, Francine M. Miller and her husband Jeff of Houma and Sybil M. Rice and her husband Greg of Texarkana, TX; his brothers, Harold J. Myers, Jr. and his wife Joyce "Penny" of New Iberia, Robert J. "Bobby" Champeaux and his wife Ann of Lydia and Wayne J. Champeaux and his wife Marcene "Max" of Lawrenceburg, TN; his sister, Betty Jane Mallett and her husband Ronnie of New Iberia; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Carol Wyatt Myers and his parents, Harold John "Johnny" Myers, Sr., Ivy Landry Champeaux and his step-father, Stanley Oscar Champeaux and his son Paul Myers.
