Ray Allen Harrington

Erath - Funeral Services for Mr. Ray Allen Harrington, 73, will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at David funeral Home Chapel of Erath with Chaplain Paul Broussard officiating. Interment will follow at LeBlanc Cemetery. Visitation will be at David funeral Home of Erath on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 9:00AM until the time of the services with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM. A native of Delcambre and a resident of Erath Mr. Harrington died at 2:30PM on Friday, October 9, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Ray was a member of Sam's Camping Club and an avid outdoorsmen. He was known for his love of camping, fishing, and helping people. He is survived by two sons, Steve Harrington of Abbeville and Mark Harrington and his wife Christina of Erath; two daughters, Laurie H. Guidry and her husband Dale of Abbeville and Connie Harrington of Moresville, NC; his companion, Betty Bodin of Erath; a step son, Timothy Lege and his husband Philip Leblanc; a step daughter, Debbie Lege; ten grandchildren, Coby Vice, Amber Goutierrez, Jonathan Harrington, Jared Harrington, Jax Harrington, Phillip Vincent, Shaynarae Foret, Joshua Harrington, Jace Harrington, and Jenna Harrington; and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yula Trahan Harrington; his parents, Ora and Annie Mae Duhon Harrington; a brother, Paul Julius Harrington; a sister, Janet Connor; and a great grandchild, Caden Vincent. Serving as pallbearers will be Coby Vice, Jonathan, Harrington, Jared Harrington, Joshua Harrington, Jace Harrington, and Kevin Foret. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Jax Harrington.
