JeaneretteA Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mr. Larry Paul Ansley, age 77, on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist at 11:00 AM with Fr. Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery. Visitation will begin at David Funeral Home of Jeanerette on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 8:00 AM until the time of service. Mr. Ansley passed away on July 22, 2015 at 1:35 PM at his residence in Jeanerette where he was a lifelong resident of the community. Larry was born on January 27, 1938 to Henry Paul and Stella Ansley. He was a member of the United States Army, and a member of the USL Alumni Association (now referred to as University of Louisiana at Lafayette) and retired from the oil field service industry. Larry is survived by his brother Henry Patrick Ansley and his wife Mary of Galveston, TX; nephews Patrick Ansley, Sean Ansley, Darren Ansley; nieces Erin Ansley Miguez, Kathleen Ansley and Celeste Ansley. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Muriel Ansley, Joyce Ansley and Jacqueline Ansley Cole. You may sign the guest register book and/or send condolences at www.davidfuneralhome.org.
