New Iberia - Funeral services will be conducted for Jessie Lee Q. Quebedeaux, 75, on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at 1:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Quebedeaux giving the Eulogy and Daniel Quebedeaux, Jr. will read scripture for the service. Burial will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A native of Arnaudville and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Quebedeaux passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at 1:40 PM at her residence. She loved gardening, landscaping, outdoors, dancing, family and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Thiel Joseph Quebedeaux of New Iberia; her daughters, Sondra Pisani and her husband James of New Iberia, Veronica LeBlanc and her husband Joe of Lafayette, Cindy Quebedeaux of New Iberia, Jennifer Viator and her husband Kenneth of New Iberia and Danielle Q. Elter of San Antonia, TX; her brothers, Jerry Quebedeaux and his wife Marie, Daniel Quebedeaux and his wife Jeanette and Michael Quebedeaux and his wife Debra all of Arnaudville; her sisters, Ruth Quebedeaux Hebert of Arnaudville and Judy Quebedeaux of Lafayette; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Quebedeaux, Sr. and Mary Ella Arnaud Quebedeaux; her brother, Timothy Quebedeaux, her sister, Lovinia Quebedeaux Gil and her son-in-law, Dale Edward Jones, I. Pallbearers will be Jerry Quebedeaux, Michael Quebedeaux, Daniel Quebedeaux, Jr., Kenneth Viator, Joseph LeBlanc and James Pisani. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Ryan LeBlanc, Jonathan Viator, Micka LeBlanc, Todd LeBlanc, Dale Jones, Blake Viator, Michael Viator, Jared Viator, Alex Elter, Brett LeBlanc, Christy Lynn Thibodeaux, Sonya Faye Breaux and Zoe Elter. The family would prefer memorials to Acadiana Hospice and Palliative Care at 458 Heymann Blvd. Lafayette, LA 70503 and / or Genesis Behavorial Hospital at 1217 Adrian St. New Iberia, LA 70560.
