Lafayette - Funeral services for Lillie Mae D. Viator, 88, will be held at 10:30AM on Tuesday November 3, 2015 in David Funeral Home Chapel of Lafayette. She will be laid to rest in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery in Youngsville alongside her husband Forest Viator and son Wayne Viator. Visitation will be held Monday November 2, 2015 from 4:00PM until 10:00PM and will resume Tuesday November 3, 2015 from 8:00AM until time of services. Lillie Mae passed away Saturday October 31,2015 surrounded by her loving family. Lillie Mae worked for the US Postal Service at U.S.L. now ULL and was a spotter for enemy aircraft during WWII. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 9210, she was a very hard worker raising six children and tending a home full of love and faith in God. Forever caring and forever giving her sprit will live on. Survivors include four children Elaine V Doucet and her husband Elroy of Youngsville, Donald Viator and his wife Mary of Youngsville, Mona V. Credeur and her husband Tony of Scott, and Jessie Viator and his wife Maria of Lafayette. Eleven grandchildren Tammy, Jeremy Paul, Cody, Nicole, Jamie , Vanessa, Zachary, Logan, Eliot, Victoria (Torie), and Barrett. Thirteen great grandchildren Brooke, Breanna, Emma, Elise,Cami, Madisyn, Kole, Jaxon, Olivia, Samantha, Zackary Jr., Bailey, and Joshua. Lillie was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years. Forest Viator, her parents Joseph and Olivia Baudoin Decou; a daughter Annette Viator; a son Wayne Viator: and sisters Rita Decou, Lydia Gary, Anna Gerac, and Elite Baudoin; brothers Martin, Theodule, Francis, Clarence, Wilfred, and Elix. Pallbears will be Son Jesse grandchildren Jeremy Paul, Zachary, Barrett, Logan, and Vanessa. Her eulogy will be delivered by Mary Lewis Webb. Proclaiming the scriptures will be her granddaughter Torie and Tammy. Mrs. Viator's family wishes to thank the staff of Mason De Lafayette and Heart of Hospice.
